SENEV -TCHAD COMPANY

Senev-Tchad is a dynamic Chadian company providing management, technical and staffing solutions.

The President General Manager, a respected Chadian businessman has been associated with ESSO, an ExxonMobil subsidiary, for the past 20 years.

Senev-Tchad has within its team hands-on experience of managing all facets of Camp Maintenance and facility’s, including intimate knowledge of the Kome Drilling Camp.

MANAGEMENT PHILOSOPHY

To provide expertise, management skills, staff, systems and maintenance schedules in order to maintain the facilities to a high standard as demanded by the client – 24 hours per day.

THE MANAGEMENT TEAM

The President General Manager is responsible for the overall management of the Company. The day to day management is the responsibility of the Base Manager and the Financial/Admin Manager, assisted by the Maintenance, Procurement, Warehouse and HSE Managers.

The Management Team has a clear perception of the contract requirements and, the organization structure, is built on an analysis of the different processes within the company. This allows for a clear understanding of requirements and allocation of responsibilities.

The Management Team has a proven track record and continuously evaluates its operations so as to provide a seamless service to the client.

SENEV-TCHAD SERVICES

PLUMBING
The services cover domestic, industrial, raw water and effluent facilities, water treatment, production and distribution of potable water from water well.

HVAC
24 hours operation, maintenance and repair facilities for container freezers, air handling units, split units, domestic refrigerators, icemachines and window type air conditioners.

ELECTRICAL
High / medium voltage 3 phase and single phase distribution, domestic
and area lighting, commercial kitchen and laundry appliances and mains failure diesel generator back-up.

TV NETWORK
Installation and maintenance of the Camp TV Network, with satellite connection and pay channel subscription. TV and decoders reset after the Rig move.

CARPENTRY
Refurbishment, maintenance, repair of accommodation blocks, offices, catering facilities, health center, painting and decorating.

MECHANICAL
Maintenance, repair of heavy earth moving equipment, water well generators, base load generators, trucks, buses, off road vehicles and pick-ups.

FABRICATION
Design and fabrication of customized container storage facilities, pipe racks, motor pump skids, rain and sun shelters, gas cutting and welding
services.

LANDSCAPING AND GARDENING
Tree husbandry, golf course maintenance, grass and weed control, walkway and pavement construction, hedges and flower beds. Maintenance of the road access and ditches. Drainage of the rain water.

WASTE MANAGEMENT
Segregation of metals, plastics, glass, wood, greenery and waste lubricants using safe disposal methods.

PROCUREMENT & WAREHOUSE
Soliciting quotations, competitive pricing, quality selection,purchasing. Sea freight, air freight and land transport management. Electronic identification, inventory management, storage and issue of materials. Procurement from USA, Europe and Midle East.

MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISION

The incumbent Maintenance Managers have a combined proven “Oilfield Maintenance Service” exceeding 40 years and an intimate knowledge of Drilling Camp. Senev-Tchad has a team of experienced and highly qualified supervisors. Amongst them we have engineers with various degrees and other post-school qualifications of different disciplines.

PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE

The focus of Preventative Maintenance is to keep the Client owned equipment in safe and good working condition.

The equipment range is significant, ranging from buildings, power plant, kitchen complex to ground works, landscaping and
recreation facilities.

Senev TCHAD has a comprehensive Preventative Maintenance program in place and adheres to the standards set by the manufacturer of the equipment. This has been further developed and adapted, to make provision for local use and environmental factors at the request of the client.

When applicable, detailed logbooks are retained on the maintenance history of the equipment.Planning and resources in the maintenance department, issupported by an integrated management system.

All work isauthorized on the basis of a job card and these cards are processed to enable analysis of job categories, work activities and resources management.

A home made program integrating the equipment / parts and manpower used to complete each job cards allow us to identify the costs involved in the completion of each job cards / projects. In addition, all available man hours are planned on a weekly basis and actual performance, measured against this planning forecast.

SAFETY
We believe and operate on the principle that safety is part and parcel
of our culture. It is SENEV – TCHAD policy to perform our business in a manner that protects the safety of employees, others involved in its operations, and the public. We conduct our affairs in a manner that is compatible with the balanced environmental and economic needs of the communities in which we operate.

SENEV – TCHAD strives to prevent all accidents, injuries and occupational
illnesses through active encouragement to think about the consequences of our actions. We have a full time HSE Manager, reporting directly to the Base
Manager, who ensures that safety and environmental standards are maintained. All staff are trained and equipped to be able to perform their work function in a safe and pleasant working environment.

RESTRICTED WORK INCIDENT
Senev-Tchad has a credible safety record since it commenced operations in
December 2003. We have achived on the 25th of September 2013 three
years without Recordable Accident or Spill.

Senev-Tchad carries out its activities in strict compliance with the ESSO
and Schlumberger guidelines.

SAFETY TOOLS
The following safety tools are extensively used by Senev Tchad:
Incidents reporting:

The crew is encouraged to report any incident regardless its severity,
near miss report, spill report and any injury or damage to equipment.

Step Back 5 X 5:
This is an important tool to enable task suspension if unforeseen risks or hazards are encountered during the course of a task.

Job Safety Analysis:
Job Safety Analysis (JSA) is an important process by which we identify
potential incidents and hazardous conditions for each job, devise safe
procedures and controls, to eliminate or reduce the likelihood of incidents.
This essential tool is in place prior to commencing a task.

Permit To Work:
The Permit to Work is a formal written statement used to cover and
control certain types of tasks which are potentially hazardous. Everyone
working for Senev-Tchad has a good general understanding of the Permit to Work system.

Safety Observation Program:
On average we receive approximately 40 STOP cards per day and the
increase in the quality of the cards received is very encouraging.

Training
HSE training is a continuous process and it represents an average of 10000 Man Hours training per year.

CREATING A SAFETY CULTURE
To create greater safety awareness amongst the staff, a series of Safety
Incentive Programs have been run. A program is normally for a period
of 12 weeks and rounded of with an award ceremony. The focus of these programs is on training and the use of safety tools such as, STOP card reporting, Job Safety Analysis and step back 5 X 5.
